A total 32,057 new Primary teachers would be recruited. Among them, under PEDP, a Circular will be issued to recruit 25,630 for Pre-Primary and 8,946 revenue teachers in various government primary School Vacant Post.

Primary Assistant teacher recruitment Circular was prepared from DPE and sent to the Ministry for approval. As the post was directly promoted to 13th grade this year, a letter was sent to the Ministry of Public Administration from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education asking for an explanation as to whether the internal quota would be maintained as per the Primary Teacher Recruitment Rules.
All previous quotas have been canceled. The quotas are: Muktijoddha, Minority Ethnic Group, Ansar-VDP, Disabled and District Quotas. Now the quota has been canceled as it was decided to give 13th grade to the assistant teachers.
However, the quota of 60 per cent women, 20 per cent men and 20 per cent pets remains in force. In each of these, the quota for recruitment of science teachers will be followed at 20 percent.
