According to the admission policy of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, online application will start from 11 February, 2021 and will continue on 1st March, 2021.
The application form has to be filled as per the instructions of the Department of Health Education and Directorate General of Health Services dghs.gov.bd by depositing 1000/- tk through Teletalk Prepaid SIM.
MBBS First Year Admission Circular 2021
On Sunday (February 8, 2021) The admission circular signed by AKM Ahsan Habib was published by the Director of the Department of Health Education (Medical Education).
He states that Students of Bangladesh who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018 and pass HSC or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020 (including Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before 2018 will not be considered eligible to apply.
Total GPA of SSC or HSC equivalent examinations have to minimum 9 in Both Exam. This rule is applicable for educational institutions conducted at home or abroad,
One hundred MCQ questions (each value 1) will have 20 marks in Physics, 25 marks in Chemistry, 30 marks in Biology, 15 marks in English and 10 marks in General Knowledge, History and Liberation War.
Bangladeshi nationals residing abroad and students studying at ‘A’ level to ‘A’ level can apply online. In that case they have to apply with the Director Medical Education Health Education Department, Mohakhali, Dhaka with a bank draft / pay order of two thousand tk and convert to GPA and get the ID number while collecting the equivalent certificate.
Attested copy of SSC certificate should be brought while collecting equivalent certificate.
Applicants for Muktijoddha, CHT Minority / Tribal Quota / Muktijoddha Tribal Quota and CHT Tribal / Sub-Tribal Certificate Applicants need to enter the online application form respectively.
